The purpose of Executive Coaching is to provide focussed & individualized development. It is tailored to the needs of the individual and is a pragmatic, results oriented approach for Executives & Leaders.
Process :
- Discussion of development needs
- Creation of development plan – the development plan can be formulated by a discussion with the executive, executive’s superior, staff and associates or by using executive assessment instruments
- Individual coaching sessions with the executive for up to one year
- Update meetings with the executive and executive’s superior to chart progress and discuss plan modifications
Results : Realistic expectations include an alignment in your ability to:
- Recognize the impact of your style in achieving the results you desire
- Manage conflict and build greater organization support for your mission
- Direct and lead a team whether it be direct reports or significant project group
- Influence key organization players
- Recognize and effectively deal with resistance to organization change
- Successfully manage stress
- Set and meet stretching business goals
Key Success Factors : There are 4 crucial factors that make or break an Executive Coaching effort:
- A development plan which is behaviorally based and on target
- The training ability, organization awareness, and process skills of the coach
- An internal mentor who is in a position to observe the client’s progress, committed to that person’s success, and willing to provide feedback
- A willing client who is committed to developing beyond their previous level of functioning
All of our clients ultimately accelerate their executive development. The only question is how quickly they evolve, and how committed they are to the effort.
"What lies behind us and what lies before us
are tiny matters compared to what lies within us."
